Rick Trotter - Senior Programmer
Rick graduated from Teesside University in 2004 with an Honours Degree in Information Technology and subsequently gained Qualified Teaching Status in 2006 through a L.E.A. graduate training scheme.He has worked in a variety of I.T. industry and education environments since 2000, adapting to the ever-changing technological climate. He has written several books over the past few years from technical manuals to science-fiction for teenagers.
Rick has responsibility for developing and delivering software and systems across the bsearcher network, turning tomorrow's dream into today's reality. He's an Übergeek with a penchant for coffee and PHP code.
Outside of work, Rick spends time with his lovely wife and two gorgeous children. He enjoys time tinkering with technology and playing a variety of instruments. His favourite food is curry, his favourite film is Hackers and his favourite colour is black ( perhaps that stems from his love of Johnny Cash? ).
